Princess Eugenie was featured in a new emotional video after his cousin Prince Harry made an exciting announcement about her UK return.
On June 11, The Salvation Army made a joint post with the Princess of York on Instagram, featuring her visit to their safe house built for survivors of modern slavery.
Eugenie, who is also a co-founder of The Anti-Slavery Collective, expressed her admiration for such initiatives which are protecting innocent lives.
In a meaningful video message, she said, “I think it is really important that people are aware that human trafficking and modern slavery exist today.”
Sarah Ferguson’s daughter shared, “I wanted to make a difference and educate people about [modern slavery] that is happening and the Salvation Army was a huge part of my learning of this subject.”
Eugenie stressed that the victims deserve to be “looked after, helped and supported.” She also lauded the staff of The Salvation Army for being so dedicated.
Urging the officials, the Princess of York said that charities should work together to support and make a difference and make a change.
During her visit, the Princess was given a tour of the safe house, including “the gym, multi-faith room, sensory space and craft room.”
“They then went on to do a lino printing session with other survivors of modern slavery who receive support at the safe house.”
It is pertinent to note that Princess Eugenie’s heartfelt statement came after Prince Harry revealed details related to the Invictus Games Birmingham event which is set to take in July 2027.
