    If Hegseth simply said “Yea we want to help Russia win” what would’ve been the consequences realistically? Not a single member of Congress would take any different action than they will today. Trump wouldn’t magically change course on his agenda. Fox New wouldn’t suddenly start questioning Trump. And MAGA wouldn’t care in the slightest.

    These guys have power now. The time to stop them was the election. Now it’s 1000% more difficult to do so. What good are words?

    I’m pretty sure, that’s what worries him the most, losing everything he worked to create; and suddenly his party brings down America’s economy, international power, and its democracy.
