Finding my ancestors from the 1800s, and I can’t read any of these except for a few. Can anyone tell me even one of these names?

  4. Those are Hungarian names.
    The third row, rightmost coloum is a Hungarian town (Pécs…). The fourth row right is Gyorok, the Hungarian name of a town that is in Romania today (Ghioroc). Do you have a more complete view of the rightmost coloumn?

  6. It’s an excerpt from some Hungarian church record, written in ecclesiastical Latin, listing names, occupation and family relations of some people.

    First field would read: “Fritz Theresia, fillia Fritz Josephi fabri ferr. et Koszta Catharina” (Theresia Fritz, daughter of blacksmith Joseph Fritz and Catharina Koszta).

    The second field reads: “Szabó Alexander, sartor, viduus Bugyi Aloyzia” (Alexander Szabó, tailor, widow (to his late wife) Aloyzia Bugyi).

    The third field: “Farkas Rozalia, vidua Pauli Krmaromy ardonis” (Rozalia Farkas, widow to (her late husband) Paul Krmaromy, the potter).

    The last field: “Katona Josefus, operarius, viduus G… [???]” (Josefus Katona, worker, widow to G… [???]).

    P.S. the whole post has basically nothing to do with Germany imo.

  7. Let’s try … but take all with a big grain of salt, maybe somebody knows better, my Latin is … barely existing, and is an interesting mix of German/Hungarian names

    My interpretation/reading/guess:

    Fritz Theresia, filia Fritz Josephi, fabri ferr., et Koszta Catharina

    -> Theresia Fritz, daughter of Joseph Fritz, a blacksmith (ferrarii?), and Catharina Koszta

    Szabó Alexander, (sutor?) viduus Bugyi Aloysia

    -> Alexander Szabó, (shoemaker?) widow of Aloysia Bugyi

    Farkas Rozalia, vidua Pauli Komaromy, ordinis?

    -> Rozalia Farkas, widow of Paul Komaromy (?)

    The column right of it may say Pécst, possibly Pécs in Hungary.

    Katona Josephus, operarius, viduus Giupli?

    -> Joseph Katona, laborer?, widower of Giupli

    The column right of it may say … Gyorok? There is a Gyorok, but is almost at the other end of Hungary from Pécst in today Romania.
