I’m more worried about the kids praising ~~neo-libertarianism~~ *neo-liberalism*. Both have a 100% failure rate as state policies, but one is a literal psychopath litmus test.

If western Europe tried communism it obviously would be much better than eastern European communism

Western Europeans would actually be good at communism – same how eastern Europeans suck at capitalism they obviously just sucked at communism too.

Socialism is kinda what made us the paradise it is now. Incredible working rights, social security, etc.
Don’t really see much enthusiasm for communism, but I do see a lot of people who are in support of more socialist ideals.
My great grandfather was imprisoned and beaten for years during the communist regime in Bulgaria for not wanting to give his farm and animals to the state. This essentially put a target on our family name as enemies of the state making it so my grandfather had to change his surname in order to be able to find a job to support his family.
So yeah I have a bit of a disdain for communism.
I’ll never forget speaking to a middle aged Polish woman at a Polish fancy dress party and her telling me about life under communism.
She said it was boring and you couldn’t buy as many things but everyone had a job and you could get married and afford to live where you grew up.
She liked all the shiny things she could buy but she’d had to move her family to Ireland because she couldn’t get a job that paid well enough to buy a house in her own neighborhood. She wasn’t sure if giant TVs and a collection of kitten heels was worth it. And vodka was so expensive in Ireland.
You could also swap the pictures and replace communism with nazism
Even though I’m a savage from south america, I always had a soft spot for Easter European countries and love to search their history. It still baffles me how many people in south America praise communism but don’t have a glue to what actually happened in these countries.
I would relate to this, but i’m not eastern European, you know.

The thing of falling within left or right shit is just wrong… People fail to filter bad thing from wrong, and i`m not talking here about just a specific group, their both fighting over the same bs…. Communism was never good, just as facisms… also these extreme-democrats are not good either with their stupid agendas of in-your-face lgtv+ comunities and so on… i still believe that at some point people will just start to ackownledge each-other view and come to a mid-ackownledgement, instead of fighting each-other who’s or what’s the best… but we’re way too far from that as human race…
