  4. The only good thing about this is my state isn’t run by idiots and we’ll be okay, even if it’s more difficult and things get shitty for a bit.

    On the other hand, Mississippi for example, is going to have a hell of a time dealing with the consequences of their choice, however.

  9. The Blue State should get together and form a fund of the money that would have gone to FEMA; hell even the money that would have gone to red states,  subtract it from their federal payment they make. 

    They can have a board that determines when payouts to individual disasters happen for states within the group.

The states do not have a magic money machine and they don’t have this in their budgets because they count on federal support. California might be able to run solo, but no others.
