  12. Friends of mine own a tour/guest house business in Normandy. They were fully booked out by a large family a couple of years ago and just did normal things with them. Tours of a day, dinner of a night. Their place is wonderful to stay at and they are just common folk.

    On day three they asked the family what brought them to Normandy as they picked up they were well travelled. It was members of the Walton family. They said they were just normal people, nothing special. Overall wonderful to host.

    Now it was the mature Walton family, I believe two of the siblings and their kids. But still good to hear and so I’m not entirely surprised to see this. They’ve been to the battlefields in Normandy. They know the sacrifice.

  21. It’s kind of a brilliant move. Target being the other shitty retail and grocery store having upset most of the money spending folk and now Walmart comes in with a somewhat bold move to sway their customers.

    Walmart won’t really take any loss from maga upset because the bulk of maga live places where Walmart is their only option for groceries. And maga being “very rural” as they are, they can’t afford to boycott them
