I saw there’s a burger festival in Helsinki this week.

  1. Grill Room makes pretty damn good smash burgers, however they also have a food truck in Teurastamo this summer so it’s also available in Helsinki outside of this festival. In a similar vein Bros burgers, Social burger joint and Pretty boy wingery all have multiple locations in the capital area so if you want to get something more special or exclusive I’d stay away from them.

  3. Just went there, I can recommend trying the mango fish burger, something out of the ordinary for sure. Nothing to say about any of the other vendors though

  4. Porilainen was the best when I still ate red meat.

    I you want a good real burger, make sure it’s width is more than it’s height. 

    Good Finnish burger should be flat enough so you don’t have to flatten it. If you need knife and fork, it’s not a burger.

  5. The Van from kotka has won the competition in 2023 and is still excellent.
