So I received legal threat for a two star review two years after it was posted from the restaurant.

As someone who travels a bit in various countries I love making food reviews of places that aren't so touristic.

I wanted to know if this is customary, google has for not removed my review and left it pending.

  1. Super popular in Germany for the owners to try and delete your comment due to defamation.

    It’s completely petty and in my opinion, shouldn’t be allowed. Prove that you were there and update your review stating that the owner is trying to remove your comment.

  3. It’s ironic when you consider how many reviews are faked and bought. Any place with 4stars plus, across 90% of the reviews have a closer look. Lots of reviews from people apparently visiting a variety of businesses across wide geographically separate areas. All the good reviews will sound perfect. Then you will also find 10% 1-2 star reviews. These are your real reviews!! Today, I have left a honest review for a pizza place in Hannover. I’m expecting to hear from the lawyers!!!
