Question for the Poles… Is this attire appropriate for my son’s Christening in a Polish church?
I am not religious and have never attended a Christening but we have decided to Christen our son due to my husband Colin from a very Catholic family.
I need to know if this is appropriate because when I research different outfits for Christenings, they’re mostly in the USA with short dresses and exposed shoulders which I’m not sure is acceptable in Poland. Please help 🥲

Yeah, the recommended dress code is to dress as if you would to a semi-formal event.
yeah, looks polish enough
yeah, that’s lovely
Definitely appropriate. Exposed shoulders are fine (strapless might raise some eyebrows) as long as the dress is knee-length too.
You will get extra points for calling it a baptism.
No
Great
Attire is fine, but baptizing small children and indoctrinating them with religion from an early age is not okay.
This is perfectly respectable.
Most people wear more revealing clothes than that to a regular Church day, but it’s expected that the parents of the child will dress “up to dress code” (non-revealing) and a bit more formally.
Your outfit meets the highest standards.
That is the most Polish thing I ever saw. You should apply for citizenship. You are one of us now. (No sarcasm included, sarcasm is for jerks)
Very pretty, very respectable. Elegant even. Nothing to stress about.
