  1. “Who knew that the world putting pressure to give a terrorist organization what they want in return for hostages would lead to the terrorist organization thinking taking more hostages is a good idea?!?”

  2. I mean, it’s not like there’s a good guy in this fight.

  3. This is being reported by the Israeli-US backed group. There’s no indepedent corroborating evidence that I’m aware of.

  4. Friendly reminder Islam Hejazy was another Palestinian aid worker murdered by Hamas and for not handing over charity donations. And she wasn’t working with Israel.

  5. I don’t see why Reddit can’t hold onto the fact that both sides have extremist murderous pieces of shit in charge. Violence begets violence and this is another result of generations of ongoing trauma with no end in sight.

Hindering and especially attacking civilian aid workers should be inexcusable regardless of who’s doing it.

  6. “…which accused Hamas of carrying out the assault. Hamas has yet to respond to the allegations.”

We wouldn’t want to jump to any conclusions about who did it. /s

  7. This. This right here is why Israel didn’t want Greta prancing around Gaza.

  8. I don’t see an end to this conflict without global intervention. The world could solve this problem if they were serious about it.

    1. Send in UN peacekeepers to eliminate Hamas and oversee the distribution of humanitarian aid. The peacekeepers should include forces from neighbouring Arab countries who are invested in seeking peace for their Muslim brothers and end to the refugee crisis
    2. Establish a Palestinian state. Hold fair and transparent elections to elect a democratic government with legitimate institutions
    3. International peacekeepers need to stick around for 10+ years to ensure the new Palestinian government survives and any foreign-backed proxies fuck off.

  9. FYI the GHF is now getting exposed for setting up traps and shooting civilians. UN/international aid programmes have been scrapped by Israel, and forcibly replaced by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.

Basic MO: starve the population, announce that food distribution is getting organized – once you set up a food distribution point, it’s the perfect opportunity to shoot hungry civilians from a distance, notably using tank-mounted machine guns:

You do what you want with the info, but personally I’ll be wary of whatever the GHF claims.

  10. Amazing they didn’t lie and claim it was the IDF

  11. > The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a controversial US and Israeli-backed aid initiative, said that a bus carrying more than two dozen of its team members was attacked by Hamas at around 10 p.m. local time.

    FAFO.

  12. And Greta in her 🐸 hat, thought she’d just sail there and all would be well.
