  1. Doesn’t mean anything what Ukraine General Staff says.

    What 3rd parties say?

  2. “according to a June 12 report by Ukraine’s General Staff” Ah yes the most trust worthy and unbiased source.

  3. Sad that such waste of human life is seen as an way of “improvement” in Russia.

  4. I thought that we are done with those numbers like a year ago but I guess we are not

No they didn’t lose 1M, if they lost 1M they would be literally losing every part that they are control, but they are moving forward. They had 1 mobilization everyone else are paid to be there

And ye I know, this counts both dead and wounded, but still not even close to 1M

  5. Im sorry, I dont believe this headline at all. 1m Russian troops?

  6. This war is an utter tragedy and these numbers are horrific. That said I think it’s important to keep in mind that in pretty much every war in human history each party inflates enemy losses and underestimates their own losses, and while it’s certainly possible that this war is an exception we should probably hold it as very unlikely.

It’s also notable how all focus is on Russian losses, but without having a reliable comparison to Ukrainian losses (not mentioned at all in this article for instance) it’s very hard to assess what the numbers actually mean for Ukraine.

(Also, keep in mind that these are *casualties*, not *fatalities*, which are much lower – a bit over the 200k mark according to NATO officials)

  7. Putin killed indirectly more than the 4% of healthy men in Russia in 3 years; people necessary to avoid demographic collapse and to improve economy.

Also destroyed every chance of happiness and growth in Ukraine.

    For what exactly?

  8. Throwing away 1 millions lives, only counting the losses on one side, just because a totalitarian dictator decided he wanted to be in the history books.

He will be in the history books, but not in the way he imagined it.

  9. Even if it’s not 1 million, it’s still big numbers. Unfortunately,in Russia no one cares about that. Government will make it as an achievement

  10. Rubio “On this Russian Day I want to congratulate Russians with this important milestone of them building a new brighter future without Russians” 🙂

  11. And this is why they are stealing 700.000 Ukrainian kids, they want to play it even
