Greece ranks tenth on the list of the most accessible countries in Europe for digital nomads, according to a survey by the travel platform OMIO, which evaluates countries based on six key indicators: cost of living, rental prices, internet speed, visa costs, length of stay, and safety.

Romania emerges at the top thanks to its low costs and excellent internet speed, followed by Albania and Georgia, which offer flexible residence regimes and very affordable prices. Portugal and Spain stand out for their quality of life but lag behind in terms of cost.

On the contrary, Greece ranks last mainly due to its higher rental costs compared to the other countries on the list, as well as due to internet speed that lags slightly behind the top destinations. However, it remains competitive in terms of nomad visa, hospitality, climate, convenience, and the cultural experience it offers, making it ideal for those combining work with life experience.
