  1. Imagine if they can do this to a sitting U.S. Senator without facing any consequences—what do you think they’ll do to the rest of us? Fight back. This isn’t the America we know if we allow this to happen.

In my country we’ve had an MP caught red-handed stealing bags from two airports he used for his commute, the police found stolen luggage at both his houses, his parliament office and even some stuff he was selling online. He got back to the parliament as an independent and only after having his immunity removed he faced charges. Yet, none of this ever happened.

    My country lived under a dictatorship for almost 50 years and even then nothing like this ever happened (granted, there were no opposicion MPs, only some slightly non-compliant moderates)

    I grew up regarding the USA an exemplar country with a strong and robust democracy.

    The world is watching its rapid descent into something that any European knows exactly what to name.

  5. This is not concerning, this is proof that the US has crossed the line from the „civilized world“ back to a fascist African 3rd world country.
    And people are cheering for it. In the next 14 months this will become irreversible. The US is lost for the western world.
