> Despite the investigation, cabinet ministers attempted to draw a line under the partygate scandal on Monday. Jacob Rees-Mogg, the Brexit minister, said fines for the parties were “not the most important issue in the world” given atrocities in Ukraine while Simon Hart, the Welsh secretary, insisted the “world has moved on”.
Does anyone care to bet on whether these two were partying away as well? There’s at least one cabinet scumbag implicated in the allegations of parties at the House of Commons, wouldn’t be shocked to find out it’s JRM.
Argh. Is this story about the misconduct of the Conservative Party about to be turned around and used by the Conservative Party to engage in their favourite hobby, bashing the civil service?
Boy, I can’t wait to see how Boris will try to deflect from this report or try to lie to Parliament about the parties again.
