What Would Happen If Russia Invaded Finland? Experts Weigh In

  1. Call Russia’s bluff and FastTrack Finland’s NATO membership (and Sweden if they want it). It is only a matter of time until Russia start looking beyond Ukraine.

  2. Russia would fail hard, thousands more Russian soldiers would get slaughtered.

After we all see how much Putin’s selfish operation failed, I doubt he wants to do another one (rational speaking).

But he keeps being a persistent sore loser, because he sees himself as invincible winner, so keeps bullying Ukraine even after his loss… so he might as well treat Finland the same, why attack Ukraine and let Finland join NATO? Makes no sense.

    So who knows.

If it happens, without doubt people are going to die… it will be a pointless war caused by psychopath/delusional Putin.

  3. finnland could pull the eu by eu mutual defense treaty to join defensive war and the moment a single bullet is shot at nato teritory that country could legal invoke articel 5 defensive clause pulling rest of nato dejure to the war

  4. These experts either “forgot” to mention or the reporter did not add it to the article that Finland is a member of EU and attacking one country in EU would be an attack towards all of EU. EU has a mutual defense article.

  5. Putin to Finland: I demand to redraw the Russian-Finland border!
Finland to Putin: Well, ok sure but just remember it was **your** idea.
