Correct me if I’m wrong, but Ukraine has a lot of untapped reserves that could very well be considered in making deals with Europe, no?

He is only partially wrong, it will have severe consequences for our economy, we should be honest about that. But that doesn’t mean it is not necessary for us to do so, as the consequences of not doing so might be a paralyzed Europe next time Russia decides to invade someone.
Normally I’d agree with him, but every day the Kremlin comes up with fresh bullshit, so maybe we’re fine, actually.
