    Anyone remember how that turned out?

    I’m sure I don’t… I just have this really random feeling like the days of accountability, justice and basic decorum are dead as a mother fucking door nail.

  13. She’s not going to resign—chaos and outrage are the point. She’s getting exactly what she wants, so why would she stop now?

    Senator Padilla was in the federal building for a scheduled meeting, which was conveniently postponed as this press conference kicked off just down the hall. He was escorted to the room and stood by as Noem escalated her rhetoric, calling for the liberation of LA. Of course he responded. That was the whole goal—she wanted a reaction, and she got one.

  17. It’s cute how some people think Republicans have shame, morals, ethics, or a sense of decency.

    They do not… It’s a trap Dems have been falling into ever since Trump won his 1st term. Dems repeatedly bring pillows to gun fights. They clutch their pearls and panic about decorum.

    Republicans do not care about anything. There is no bottom to their barrel, they will unabashedly cheat, steal, lie, and break any law. The only thing that matters to them is real and harsh consequences to their lawlessness.

  20. Anyone not understanding what “I’m senator Alex Padilla” means probably shouldn’t have a job in an administration since their English would have to be so bad to not understanding that he was a senator and his name was Alex Padilla.

    I’m not a native speaker and I had no issue understanding what his name was and that he was a senator.

  22. We’ve been calling for the whole administration to resign. Not happening. NO moral high ground from the GOP to push them to do so. Absolute garbage.

    Man we keep getting all these calls but no one seems to want to answer… It’s almost as if there should be an entire section of the government who is supposed to be moderating the abuse of power that these people keep committing, but just aren’t because why would they? A “branch” if you would

  26. You remove these people.  You don’t call for their resignation. 

    However, that sets a precedent that a corrupt government like one in place now would abuse.  Like Noem did in the press conference. 

    So until a sane government comes in along with a sane Supreme court these people will never leave.

    The only way to get them out is to vote them out.
