About 3 years ago, we had a similar lightning storm up in Edinburgh. There was no rain or thunder, just constant flashing. And I mean constant, like every 3-5 seconds. Lasted about 2 hours. It was the most insane storm I’ve ever seen, and I haven’t witnessed lightning since. Hoping this makes it way up lol
I’m so jealous. That would cool everything down so much. The thermostat in my bedroom shows 27•c
In Canterbury and the thunder and lightning has been rumbling on for an hour or so. Absolutely spectacular!!!

It’s right over the town I live in, fork lightning and flashes from all angles. I love a good storm. It’s my 2 year old daughter’s first proper storm and she enjoyed it until she fell asleep.
I’m in Surrey and nothing. Got excited a few minutes ago, but it was a cars headlights

A madness here in Norfolk, rain is heavy with mud. Put my hand out to feel how heavy the rain is, was covered in muck when I brought it in.
I waited all day and it went around us!! We caught abit of it, but this is what i was waiting for ☹️
