[OC] All of the areas under EU, Schengen and Eurozone

  1. TL;DR It’s EU without:

    – Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Sweden, Denmark (Eurozone)

    – Ireland or Cyprus (Schengen)

    – French and Dutch overseas territories (Schengen)

If you see any mistake, comment. It didn’t take me too much time to make this map, and it looks kinda bad, so I’d be really glad if I saw **any** kind of criticism. Anyway, if you read this, I hope you have a nice day.

    — DATA I HAVE USED —

    Eurozone:

    European Union:

    https://europa.eu/european-union/about-eu/countries_en

    https://europa.eu/european-union/about-eu/euro/which-countries-use-euro_en

https://europa.eu/european-union/about-eu/euro/use-euro-outside-euro-area_en (much of the regions “geographically outside the European Union” are inside the European Union (Outermost Regions), they are just outside of Europe)

    Schengen:

    https://europa.eu/european-union/about-eu/countries_en#schengen

    https://ec.europa.eu/home-affairs/policies/schengen-borders-and-visa/schengen-area_en

    https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A32016R0399&qid=1636280246970

    (37) excludes French and Dutch territories outside of Europe, even within the EU; it does not affect Ceuta and Melilla

    https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:42000A0922(06)

“Recognising that the special status granted to Mount Athos” – Mount Athos part of the Schengen area

Couldn’t find information on other Spain’s (Canary Islands, plazas de soberanía), Portugal’s (Azores, Madeira, Ilhas Selvagens), Germany’s (Büsingen am Hochrhein, Heligoland), Italy’s (Campione d’Italia, Livigno) or Finland’s (Åland) authonomous areas [Wikipedia doesn’t count] – regarding neither, but I assume them to belong to both Eurozone (even if some areas use *de facto* Swiss francs, at least according to Wikipedia) and Schengen zone
