  12. I’m not sure they resonate much in Europe but I’m biased as I personally admire Zelensky. But I’ve only heard this once, can’t remember who nor when or where – but I shot it down within seconds and didn’t feel they were even convinced themselves by what they were saying. That being said, I’m not hanging around far right people much so maybe…

  15. If Zelensky was wasting “billions” of dollars on himself, surely there be proof. But there isn’t. Even that punk Tucker Carlson can’t find it. America, and most of the World supports Ukraine. That can be proven!

  16. The skies should have been closed on day one by Europe and US. We promised as much. All of the sanctions Russia is feeling now should have been on since Russia invaded Crimea.

    I think the reason it wasn’t was because we have an industrial complex that was dying after withdrawing from Afghanistan and Covid, etc… a speedy resolution was less attractive than firing up industry to make shells, tanks and artillery just like China has been doing in preparation for invading Taiwan. We also saw an opportunity to ween Germany off of Russian energy. Something that various administrations have worked on and wasn’t ready at the time of the Crimean invasion.

    I feel like the slow escalation was working at the detriment of both Ukraine and Russia people. But Ukraine was finally getting access to long range weapons it needed to disrupt supply chains and push back.

    With the current US administration, if Russia nuked Kyiv, I am less sure what the response would be. Before, I assumed that would mean Russia would lose most of their nuclear capabilities overnight. Now, I think there would be some kind of international meeting and resolution that would give most or all of Ukraine to Russia in the name of peace.

    Having Russia think that they can diplomatically take over Ukraine keeps them from scorched earth decimation across the country.

    Europe needs to step up and end this. If you can’t make your own artillery fast enough, buy it from the US. This is a win-win since a developed and democratic Ukraine will be a huge engine for mutual growth and prosperity of Europe.

    Do I actually think Russia will try to invade Europe? No. But the advantage Europe would have if they end up with a European Ukraine is completely worth the effort, imho.

    Don’t forget. If Russia takes over Ukraine, those Ukrainian soldiers we helped train become Russian soldiers. Even the threat of invasion of the former Soviet states by this expanded army will result in their immediate capture.

    Most Americans I know want an immediate surge in the support of Ukraine. Giving just enough to support to maintain battle lines has been awful and expensive. I think those that oppose this support, might see a united new Europe as a huge threat to USA in terms of trade. I think they might have a point as well.

  17. Can’t speak for all of Europe but the ruzzian propaganda doesn’t resonate well at all here in Norway. Except for like 10 people, the rest of the country support Ukraine 100%.

Irish Italian American here give money go to Ukraine protest waving my Ukrainian flag fly Ukrainian flag on my car with flag bumper sticker have flags around my garage with message Support Ukraine 🇺🇦 with QR codes directing people to Ukrainian official website wear Ukrainian pin and Ukrainian shirt some of us Americans are greatly aware and we hate criminals trump and Putin. Hope and pray for an Ukrainian victory feel great sadness for all the suffering
