I got a massive decrease this year to be fair 200 euros.
There could be fewer trips to Ballycosta for some career compos.
Happy days, my insurance dropped from €550 to €320 this year, hopefully they stop paying out on more bullshit claims.
Time for a colossal drop in insurance so right?
Every single quote I’ve gotten is 25% higher than last year, with an extra 1 years no claims…..How?
For context: Last year I paid €407, this year minimum quote I have is €512
This bit is also relevant:
“However, the acceptance rate for PIAB awards last year fell to just 37 per cent from a 51 per cent acceptance rate in 2020, mostly because claimants, rather than insurers, rejected the awards, believing they could do better in court.
Some claimants may have been advised they would get near the old higher award, but they needed to be sure that they had taken all factors into account, including age and employment, she said. “People’s mindsets will need to change, there is a readjustment period for them.”
I was Allianz but they increased my insurance like normal by ~100 euros. I did a quick new customer on the website and it was ~125 less (so 225 less than their quote) . Exactly the same insurance.
I called them up and the insurance person agreed with me that it was crazy but she couldn’t match the online price. She told me to buy it and just let the insurance lapse over.
Kia and Hyundai dealerships looking worried for this years sale targets.
Hopefully this’ll mean outdoor adventure stuff will start being able to reopen.
I actually cut my car insurance by almost half this year. I’m actually regretting sticking with my old insurance provider for 2 years. You’re literally throwing money out of the window if you don’t switch.
