And this is true for almost everything he does. Does he make bad decisions deliberately out of bad intentions or because of his incompetence? In my opinion, he’s absolutely incompetent, incoherent, incontinent and ineligible but his malicious intent, his ego, his grifting and his self-promotion at any cost outweigh his incompetence in his decision-making

An illuminating watch is the Oscar winning documentary, American Factory, about a Chinese owned glass factory in Ohio. There was a character in the documentary that used to talk about the salary she had while working for auto factories years ago while living in her sister’s living room. The second she gets a job at this glass factory she tried to unionize and got fired. The culture between the Americans and the Chinese are quite different. Even if salary wasn’t an issue, the culture is definitely very different.
These aren’t good or great jobs, there’s a reason why there’s the infamous suicide nets outside of the Foxconn factories.

Seriously though, the only thing conservative tax cuts have bought us is debt. They don’t do a thing to stimulate economic growth and they certainly don’t “pay for themselves”, particularly when they neuter the IRS’s ability to collect taxes.
Everything this guy said was true. Providing robust, easily accessible infrastructure will certainly help.
What else would help?
Investing and promoting non college education options after high school. Shifting the tax burden upward to the wealthiest. Raising the minimum wage. Decoupling health insurance from our jobs. Subsidizing building affordable housing.
The list goes on. None of it should be targeted towards the 1%.
