Israel Iran Conflict News LIVE Updates: A day after Israel launched a series of blistering attacks on Iran, killing a commander and bombing nuclear sites, hostilities continued between both countries as they traded missiles and airstrikes. Israel launched new strikes just hours after Iran’s retaliatory drone attacks on military and civilian targets inside Israeli territory.

Threats aplenty: Israel’s defense minister warned that “Tehran will burn” if Iran continues targeting civilians. Prime Minister Netanyahu told Iranian citizens to “stand up and let your voices be heard.” Iran, in turn, threatened to expand strikes and warned the US, UK, and France not to interfere, saying their bases in the region are also potential targets.

Both sides suffer casualties: Iran says at least 78 people were killed and over 320 injured, most of them civilians, in Israeli strikes, as reported by CNN. Israeli officials confirmed that three people died and dozens were injured in Iran’s counterattack. A deadly strike on a residential building in Tehran reportedly killed 60 people, including 20 children, though this has not been independently verified.
