The Israeli rescue authority said it was called to a residential building in the Western Galilee just before midnight, local time.
“Paramedics operated under heavy destruction in a three-storey building, where two women were rescued without signs of life, and their deaths were pronounced at the scene,” a statement said.

Another woman was pulled from the rubble but pronounced dead after she arrived at a hospital.
Few new reports about casualties have emerged from Iran overnight, despite Israeli attacks on energy facilities.
However, Iran’s UN ambassador, Amir-Saeid Iravani, told the UN Security Council on Friday that Israel’s attacks had killed 78 people and injured more than 320 at that point.
