Actually the headline should read ‘EasyJet cancels hundreds of flights because they didn’t have a realistic plan for when the world started opening up again’
Otherwise known as ‘We laid off too many people and now they’ve been employed on better pay and conditions elsewhere and we aren’t willing to pay enough to attract them back’
But why? Most of the staff will be younger and covid is mild. Are that many staff really too sick to work?
