Dublin truck protest comes to an end – Independent.ie

  1. People will remember this day, where were you when the great Dublin truck protest finally came to an end? One for the history books.

  2. Literally heard about it first in passing yday. Over already. Maybe I’m an elitist cuck or this was a waste of time.

  3. I feel like the list of demands was mental. It’s not going to go down well if you’re literally trying to take the city hostage. I walked by the GPO at 9am yesterday and there was nobody there, a few press and one garda van. Also, I think governments have seen what has happened in other protests with these trucks. It won’t be like Canada where they are left there for a month. It’s going to be fines + towing from day 1.

When the anti vax / conspiracy lads join in with your protest you’re in trouble with getting any credibility going. If there’s someone walking around at your protest reading a random 1668 bill of rights to the guards, you might as well go home.

  4. I still have no idea who was behind it. I checked out their Facebook page and there’s no names; no spokespeople at any of their protests, nothing at all.

    It’s super fucking suspicious
