Sunday’s 2025 All-Ireland Football Round Robin games will decide the final line up for the quarter finals with four matches on the schedule

The pick of the action sees Donegal and Mayo battle it out in Roscommon alongside a key battle between Ulster foes Cavan and Tyrone.

Ahead of a crunch Sunday of action our tipster Feargal Brennan dived into the markets with a prediction for all four games.

Louth v Clare

Sunday 2pm
All-Ireland match at Laois Hire O’Moore Park, Portlaoise

Louth to win

Victory for Louth against Clare in Portlaoise will put them into the preliminary quarter finals with the automatic spot from Group 3 going to either Down or Monaghan.

After their incredible Leinster title win, the step up has been a struggle for Louth, with defeats to the above sides albeit just by a single point against Down.

Louth are heavy favourites to win and I fancy them to get the job done.

Monaghan v Down

Sunday 2pm
All-Ireland match at BOX-IT Athletic Grounds, Armagh

Monaghan over 24.5 points

The battle between Monaghan and Down will clinch who lands in the quarter finals and who will be forced to battle through the preliminaries.

Both sides have won their two games ahead of this clash, and Monaghan are heavily fancied to get the all-important win, so the value could be in the points market.

Gabriel Bannigan’s team registered 26 points against Louth and 28 against Clare, so breaking the 24.5 barrier should be within reach in Armagh.

Donegal v Mayo

Sunday 4pm
All-Ireland match at King & Moffat Dr Hyde Park, Roscommon

Over 2.5 goals

Group 1 is super tight ahead of the final weekend with all four sides on two points and Donegal on top based on points difference.

A shock home loss to Tyrone was a setback for Jim McGuinness’ side in May, but they revved back into form, via a whopping 19-point win over Cavan last time out.

Goals should be on the cards at Dr Hyde Park, with Mayo scoring three in their last two games, with Donegal smashing three past Cavan keeper Liam Brady.

Tyrone v Cavan

Sunday 4pm
All-Ireland match at Brewster Park, Enniskillen

Tyrone under 26.5 points

Tyrone are red-hot favourites to beat Cavan in Enniskillen, but the automatic quarter final place will likely be decided in a points battle with Donegal, but they have not have been a little shot-shy of late.

23 points in their win in Ballybofey was followed just 16 in defeat to Donegal, so don’t expect a thriller in this one.
