  4. It’s been fun watching the MAGA faithful pretending this thing was actually about the Army’s 250th, instead of Trump’s 79th.

    You can tell that even they know the truth by how bland their defenses of the parade and the low turn are, but they have to keep up appearances or risk a moment of self-awareness that Trump is a vainglorious, wannabe tinpot dictator.

  10. We’ve all been to concerts with bigger crowds. And at least the concerts had tunes, booze, and drugs. 🙂🍺🤘 (Donnie and Junior’s stash doesn’t count here, nor does any flask or bottle Hegseth has hidden in his pocket).

  11. A pathetic humiliation for our military on top of firing the best and brightest of top brass ,denigrating and erasing the history of women and people of color in the military, renaming bases, and ships all for his ego. I hope the soldiers remember this day…

  12. Our military deserves to be celebrated – but in a respectful way, not by parading them around like a bunch of show ponies for the entertainment of an dottering egotistical politician. Imagine if the money had been spent on programs or items that actually benefit the military – VA services, better/safer equipment, that sort of thing. This show by a wannabe dictator was so disrespectful. And such a waste of time for hardworking people who had better things to do.

Satisfying the whims of one man detracts takes the spotlight off of military needs. Pay our military men and women nix the parades!!!
