Did he veto it after it failed?
Sounds like war propaganda meant to make trump look like a peace maker.
I assume he is afraid they could go after him too, and his is trying to also become Supreme leader…
If this is true, this is extraordinary the capabilities Israel has built. They have infiltrated every part of the Iranian society with moles everywhere. 2 Years ago Iran seemed like an impregnable force with proxies and support network all across Middle East with everyone including the Saudis fearing the Iranian force and power projection. Its astonishing how Israel has decimated the crown jewels of Iran with such ruthless efficiency and turned Iran completely toothless, not to mention the incompetence of Iran. Iran got complacent, and are now paying the price.
Still going for that Nobel peace prize I see.
Sure he did! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Trump accepted an Israeli strike on Iran but clearly already dosen’t like the extent of operations.
The problem is of course by this point that nobody can take anything coming out of the US administration at face value – same with Israel, same with Iran. None of us have any idea what is true and what isn’t. I don’t like being cynical but right now it seems the safest bet is to assume everyone is lying until their claims have been verified by multiple trustworthy sources.
>Asked about the report during a live interview on Fox News, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says, “There are so many false reports about conversations that never happened — I’m not going to get into it.”
>National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi also denies the report, calling it “fake news of the highest order.”

I wish Biden or Harris or some Democrat would do a conference saying:
‘This is a terrifying escalation, escalations like this would never happen if I was president. Dictator Trump is a threat to global peace. Sad.’
“I gave israel all the bunker buster missiles. But i am against the war” lol
I just don’t believe that he has any power to veto it.
With everything else that’s going on, if Israel has the opportunity to kill the Iranian leader, they will.
The current US government won’t do or say anything to stop them. Just like they’re not stopping any other conflict.
I think it’s so much worse to leave a totalitarian dictator in charge while you destroy everything and everyone around him
I do wonder what effect it would have had if they had done it. The amount of power and authority that the position of Supreme Leader has within Iran seems monumental. I assume it would have created an enormous power vacuum and created huge levels of uncertainty and chaos.
Although having said that Khamenei is in his mid 80’s so you would assume the succession would have been planned for. So maybe it’s harder to say, and in fact beyond being a huge symbolic event, it wouldn’t have had that big of a practical effect.
This is the art of the deal in action. It lets Trump dance around and confuse and find leverage. I don’t know if it’s insanity or actually effective but it’s the art of the deal.
I know Iran’s government is a big pain, but wouldn’t Iran probably fall into civil war if that happened?
Although I don’t know what is the alternative, I guess Khamenei could be removed peacefully and taken out of power, but that would take the army to betray him, and I don’t know if that could happen.
The mollahs would probably cause a lot of problems and incite violence.
Given Trump’s relationship with the truth, that probably means he’s already dead.
File this right with “Trump trying to negotiate with Iran to avoid attack by US and Israel”.
How reliable are “US Officials” these days?
