The Bank of England’s agent for Greater London is to address the Mortgage Business Expo later this year.

Rob Elder has worked for the Bank of England since 1998, having spent 12 years supporting the Monetary Policy Committee as an economist and in senior management.

He will offer attendees at MBE London insights into the current state of the economy and future outlook for the UK.

As well as hearing from the industry’s most respected voices, visitors will have the chance to network face-to-face with lenders and providers active in residential, commercial, bridging, and later life lending.

Some 50 exhibitors confirmed and a seminar programme offering CPD-accredited learning.

Taking place on October 14 at the Business Design Centre, MBE London follows the MBE North event earlier this year.

Entry is free, and you can register in advance here.

A spokesperson says: “We are delighted to once again have the Bank of England’s Rob Elder delivering the keynote address at MBE London.

“His presentation last year was one of the highlights of the event, and he will provide all attendees with an informative and entertaining look into what lies ahead for the economy.

“Mortgage Business Expo is renowned for delivering the very best speakers for those in attendance, as well as the opportunity to spend time with providers, network with their peers, and earn CPD points in the process.”
