from condemnations to calls for calm shortly after Israel launched a wave of attacks on Iranian missile sites and killed top military officers world leaders reacted to what are the most significant strikes on Iran since its war with Iraq in the 1980s donald Trump on his social media platform said “There has already been great death and destruction but there is still time to make this slaughter with the next already planned attacks even more brutal come to an end.” Trump confirmed the US had been told of Israel’s plans before the strikes occurred and he said it was ready to defend itself and its longtime ally Israel yet Secretary of State Marco Rubio also underlined that the US was not involved that Americans should not be targeted the head of NATO Mark Rut said Israel’s allies must help deescalate the United Nations Secretary General expressed concern that the strikes come as nuclear talks are underway between the US and Iran it condemned the military escalation amidst concerns it could undermine those talks the Secretary General asks both sides to show maximum restraint avoiding at all costs a descent into deeper conflict with fears of a broader regional war many nations called for deescalation while also noting concern over Iran’s nuclear program the EU condemned the attacks and said diplomacy is now the best path forward a sentiment echoed by Germany and France the French foreign minister also said the attacks should not distract from the situation in Gaza either we reiterate that this must not make us forget what is happening in Gaza where we call for an immediate ceasefire the release of all the hostages held by Hamas and the unimpeded access to humanitarian aid there china said it was deeply worried about the severe consequences that this might bring russia called the attacks unacceptable and unprovoked even Saudi Arabia Iran’s longtime adversary reprimanded Israel for undermining Iran’s sovereignty

Many of the worrld leaders are so disconnected, the world is a better place without Iran with a Nuclear weapon, If all these smart people with opinions would have done a better job there would not be this attack / war. Israel can only trust it self to protect against such a huge threat to our existance. what about all the good outcomes of the war? look at Lebanon, milions of people now have a chance to get back to a normal life thanks to Israel destroying the Hisbollah terror organization. the world shoud join fighting against all this radical Islam but not only with words –> results. the solution is not always just to stop
