When you don’t support your staff during a pandemic, they all leave to support themselves and their families
Then you can’t adapt to higher demand, or staff illnesses
The desire to maximise shareholder value is killing industries
Though if you knew you could not get the staff in time, you could have restricted the number of planes landing and taking off at the airport(s) concerned.
I’m hearing of lots of passengers missing flights due to airport delays
