Hey there! I randomly stumbled over [this](https://youtu.be/n_9qSa-g2DI?t=127) video and I found it quite funny, although I don’t know how accurate the accents are. I have no real knowledge on Norway either way, so I’m interested to read your opinions on this!

It’s a pretty accurate parody of an Eastern Norwegian accent turned up to 11.
Sort of accurate, but exaggerated. As far as I know it has to do with the fact that Norwegian is a (simple) tonal language that uses pitch accent.
Accurate in oslo and South east Norway, but not the rest
Never thought this was the case until I moved abroad and everyone imitated the Norwegian I used on the phone like “edde-bedde-medde-adde”.
[This](https://youtu.be/UrLu4MmMCSE?t=26) is kinda how it sounds I guess.
Sounds like an exaggerated southeastern accent.
Accurate on one dialect in a country with a multitude of dialects.
Depends on the dialect, for me this is not accurate at all.
Norway has tons of different dialects, and while we can easily understand each other, we stress different syllables and sound very different.
This is, however, fairly accurate for much of Eastern Norway (where around half of Norwegians live). It’s massively exaggerated for comedy, but I can absolutely see what about our manner of speaking he’s getting at.
