We domesticated them and then decided to treat them like shit on our shoes as soon as they became “obsolete” and we no longer had a use for them. We’re the baddies! Treat living creatures with some bloody respect!

  2. If you go to Bletchley Hall, there’s a room with awards, medals and news articles highlighting the work that pigeons (and other animals did) throughout several wars over the years. It’s pretty amazing when you read the stories.

  5. They bring bird mites that infest your home when they leave. I’ve posted this like 5 times now, but pigeons shit in their nests, bring mites and disease.

  9. Love pigeons. I have a window feeder in my office that only pigeons visit and I swear it’s the same group every time. I’m just waiting for a grossly fat pigeon to visit and deck the feeder.
