Fun Facts:

* Did you know, every candidate needs 4 nominators to be nominated in district they’re running in, and to spend 90 euros to register in that district? So each candidate spends at least 90 euros or up to 180 euros to run! With 304 Nominations in total, a total of €27,360 was spent by parties just to register!
* Candidates have a €20,000 spending limit for each district they’re running in, and can spend up to €40,000 if they’re running in 2 districts! How they allocate the spending is then up to them.
* Candidates giving food, drinks, money or other favours is illegal. (Volt Malta launched a pledge asking candidates from all parties to sign, promising that they won’t engage in any ”favours-for-votes” activities, and hardly anyone from PN & PL signed it)
* While they’re national elections, Malta has 13 districts, and vote for candidates in a ranking order across as many parties as they want in any order they prefer.

  7. Did not have to read far into Abba manifesto to run into this:

    > Legislation will be proposed which aims to have primacy over all other laws (with the exception of the Constitution) whereby the moral conscience of the individual will always be respected and upheld. The right to human life from conception will be enshrined in our Constitution.
    > In the light of Covid-19, vaccination will remain a voluntary decision. Discrimination between the vaccinated and unvaccinated will be scrutinised to prevent subtle coercion. We will uphold medical privacy and data protection as a fundamental human right.

    Last thing we need is antivax religious fundamentalists in our government.

    NOTE: How come that real ABBA have not sue them yet for treadmark violation?
