  1. What does this mean in practical terms. Does it bring them closer to justice, put pressure on dubai to fuck them out?

  2. SANCTIONS DON’T WORK!

it’s the poor innocent Kinhans that will suffer.

We’ll only end their reign of terror if we sit down with them and discuss peace

  3. I think it’s a dangerous precedent tbh… the cops are using legal privilege in the High Court to name D Kinahan and others in circumstances where they don’t have criminal conversations. If the Guards have sufficient evidence, they should charge those involved, but this practice of naming people under privilege is a bit of a nonsense tbh and I don’t think it should be allowed!

  4. Oh that’s pretty interesting. An Irish gang that actually got big enough to be sanctioned by the US government! I wonder which of our banks are going to have to act on this.

  5. Supposedly after the announcement of sanctions, they offered big rewards for their arrest:

Very curious. You’d think they would just issue the warrants under seal and the FBI, DEA, and Garda would coordinate with the Dubai / UAE police and arrest them. The UAE is a surveillance state, undoubtedly they knew where they were. The sanctions even listed addresses at the Dubai Marina.

From what I’ve read, the Kinahans didn’t operate in the USA, but if Team America: World Police wants you, they should be able to immediately grab you from a US “ally” like the UAE.

Maybe they are getting grabbed and the “rewards” are bribes to the Dubai authorities.
