If there’s one thing Trump is right about, Europe is way too dependent on American military capabilities and the development of over-priced, non-replaceable technology as well as recruitment issues places them at a serious disadvantage in a war of attrition. Hopefully, whatever rearmament plan Europe has in mind will come into fruition into the coming years.

  2. Never in my whole life have I been as shocked by incompetence than watching the European response to the war in Ukraine.

    A whole continent of people who rely on the USA for wiping their asses, who tremble at the thought of Russia appearing at their window. They’re wholly unprepared for anything; for the migrant crisis (that they helped create), for the far right surge, for climate change, for a major war, for a decoupling from the USA. Everything. I’d include Canada in this too, and we’ve been outright threatened with invasion by the President!

    On the plus side, the subtle disrespect they get shown by the Americans, Russians, and Chinese when they don’t get invited places is very funny.

  3. Ok, time for Europe to finish the job and invase Russia.

    All these US Russophiles really don’t know that Russia has been the outcast for hundreds of years. They were never the big deal in Europe until they got allied help during ww2.

    Let’s get it done now, before they’re ready.

  4. We need to start realizing that Russia is already thinking ahead towards a multi-polar world. In such a world it was never the USA, but the EU that would be its regional rival. Let’s keep in mind that the 2014 revolution and subsequent Russian annexation of Crimea was about closer ties to the EU, not NATO.

  5. Russia only understands force. They should have nipped this thing in the bud in 2022, boots on the ground, European army rounded up by the 100’s of thousands. If they’re trying for a war of attrition, why not think a couple steps ahead and go all in on protecting your borders? Somethings gotta give, and its now a question of will Europe step up to the plate, because under Trump, America is probably just gonna become another russia. The training wheels are off, and a lot of it is the fault of world leaders being completely pathetic perverted war mongers
