TEKNOFEST rotates locations annually—occurring in Istanbul during odd years and spreading across other Turkish cities in even years. Last year’s event in Adana attracted roughly 1.1 million visitors.
In 2023, the festival celebrated Türkiye’s centennial by holding three separate editions in Istanbul, the capital Ankara, and Izmir, reflecting its growing significance nationwide.
Earlier this year, TEKNOFEST expanded internationally by hosting an event in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) from May 1 to 4, drawing 225,000 participants. The TRNC became the festival’s second overseas venue following Azerbaijan’s 2022 hosting.
Since launching in 2018, TEKNOFEST has welcomed nearly 10.7 million visitors, solidifying its role as a powerhouse for innovation and technological advancement in Türkiye.
