More than 1,500 extra seats have been added to Iceland from Stansted as Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks expand their programme for winter 2025-26.
New services mean that city breaks will be available during February school half-term next year.
Extra Thursday flights have gone on sale for February 12 and 19, a new Monday flight on February 16 and a Sunday departure on February 22.
The expansion means that more than 170 outbound services will run from 12 UK airports between October 2025 and April 2026, representing over 34,000 seats – a capacity increase of 6% over last winter.
Chef executive Steve Heapy said: “Iceland is a destination that is rapidly growing in popularity thanks to its many natural and unique wonders, from the Northern Lights to natural parks and geothermal spas.
“These additional flights from London Stansted airport come in direct response to the demand we have seen from customers since launching our winter 2025-26 programme.
“We are thrilled with this response and are now offering holidaymakers even more choice when it comes to visiting this breathtaking destination during the February half-term.”
