  1. Take the grounds somewhere meaningful and spread them in his honour.

  2. Never give it away.

So far, 100% of people who have given that coffee away have died. Don’t risk it.

  3. Poor bugger. Thirst get him after a few days of waiting for a brew?

  4. Aw I still have a bar of Imperial Leagher soap from my aunts house, I spent my childhood sticking the remains to her walls! I love seeing it in my cupboard now

  5. Really sorry mate, it sounded like a brewtiful friendship.

  6. Mate of mine gave me some cyanide capsules before dying a few hours later. Haven’t touched them since, in his honour.

  7. Can’t believe how many people are making a mocha-ry of this..

  8. These comments are awful. There’s no way I’d mocha post like this

  9. You guys should be ashamed for making a mochary of this poor guy’s situation.

  10. In sorry, I read it as mate gave *it* a go and died, I didn’t think out of date coffee could do that.

  11. I have a half-drunk bottle of water in my fridge that was my lovely gone husband’s. He died in 2016, it’s moved house with me and is going to stay in the fridge until after I die too!

  12. My Grandfather gave me a bottle of whiskey to celebrate my wedding and died shortly afterwards, I have a measure on my wedding anniversary and on the anniversary of his death – it’s the best way to appreciate the gift and his life, miss you Papa.

  13. Use it and think of your mate with each cup you have. They didn’t want it gathering dust in their memory. Sit in the garden, in the sun and appreciate life with your gifted coffee. That’s what they would want.
