That first one is one of my favorite looks of hers. I always wondered why we never saw that necklace again. I read recently that it was a gift the queen wouldn’t let her keep. I was so young when this pic came out and it embodied everything I thought a princess was.
After seeing this I wonder why Kate opts for such long dresses/skirts. She never wears things above the knee.

Via the royal lens, it’s nice to see how far maternity wear has come in the last 40 years. Oof the 80s maternity choices were awful.
