Kinder Surprise eggs recalled in UK over salmonella link | Food safety Tags:United Kingdom 7 comments They don’t call them Kinder *Surprise* for nothing. For a minute, I was convinced this was a late April fool’s joke Kid had an egg on Saturday & been sick for 2 days. This now all makes sense. FML. Will be spending my time sorting doctors/time off school/work to handle all this now. One he ate was 25th October best before, which is outside of their date range by 18 days. Will inform UKHSA I hate these things anyway, just more plastic tat to go into the oceans. Damn it, the Americans were right, they are dangerous. A person in front of me in the Lidl queue the other day bought around 56 of these. How unfortunate. Can anyone splain me how salmonella gets into chocolate? I thought it just affects things like meat and poultry. Leave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
