Canada has pledged:

1) Additional sanctions against over 40 entities in Russia and beyond. The sanctioning of over 200 vessels in Russias shadow fleet.

2) $2B in additional military assistance to Ukraine

3) An additional $2B in frozen Russian assets will be given to Ukraine.

  1. im not surprised every time the uk called ,canada was the first to show up and help with everything they had, mark carney has very strong links to the uk , he was the govenor of the bank of england for ages and will back the uks position on ukraine , canada is a strong democracy ,with morals and standards , and carney is no bodys fool

  2. Fuck, Mark Carney is just that dude. Having a competent smart politician as your leader does wonders. Honestly it’s always rubbed me the wrong way that we haven’t gotten more hands on since Canada (and specifically Alberta) is looooaded with Ukrainian immigrants from over the years. Shoutout to my Ukrainian summer camp I went to as a kid, also literally took Ukrainian lessons in middle school.

  4. I wish Canada was harder against Israel and condemning them for their Genocide. I know it’s unlikely with any kind of Liberal government but I was hopeful.

    He also wouldn’t declare this as he wants Ukraine to lose to his mentor pootin as we are all aware.

    Time for Ukraine to do a trump back out and tell him they have reversed their minerals agreement with this arsehole and watch him spit his dummy big time

  11. President Trump left early and that was disappointing to Zelenskyy who wanted at least to get Trump’s needed authorization, to BUY 500 million dollars cash worth of air defense weapons.

    Ukraine is not asking for gifts, just for the missiles for air defense to protect civilians.

    To exit before settling this urgent matter is not right, as women and children are dying for the absence of US providing the needed weaponry.

    To be clear no other countries can provide these type of missiles, only the USA.

  28. It made me absolutely livid to see Zelensky mentioning how we (America) had just asked them not to attack Russian energy sectors, just for Russia to turn around and bomb civilian energy sectors and buildings…

    And then to see the absolute dunce con-man we have as a “leader” fucking blabbing on and on about whether or not Russia was G8, G7, and there wouldn’t be a war if he had been president in 2014 when he didn’t run and the entire reason Russia is out of the G7 is because they invaded Ukraine.
