Belgian Tanks Going To Ukraine.

  1. Always a fan of helping Ukraine and things that go boom, but this video is a bit hyperbolic to say it lightly. The leopard 1a5 hulls aren’t chosen because they’re so great and powerful but because we’ve got them lying around. An unmanned turret is better for crew safety but is just as vulnerable to drone attack as manned turrets mechanically. The turret is just something cockerill wants to sell and they’re using this to battle test the design. The Belgium governement gets to spend the money on a Belgian company so win/win. The 105 mm round is outdated when it comes to tanks, especially since the current trend is increasing the bore size to 130 or 140 mm for future tank designs. So yeah, we’ll see how great these end up being.

  2. What tanks? We sold most of our stock in the early 2000’s to the Middle-East
