The project, in which Santos and its joint venture partners, SK and JERA Co, have invested $3.95 billion so far, remains on track for first gas in the third quarter of 2025, Santos said.
The Barossa project, together with the Pikka Phase 1 project in Alaska, is expected to deliver a 30 per cent increase in production for Santos in the next 18 months compared to 2024, the company said.
