Russian Drone Attack Injures Woman in Chernihiv Region on June 17

On the morning of June 17, a village in the Snovska community in Chernihiv region became the target of an attack by a Russian drone. The explosion occurred near a local store, causing serious consequences.

As a result of the shelling, a 68-year-old woman sustained a shrapnel wound to her thigh. The victim received the necessary medical care, and her condition is currently stable.

According to information from the “North” operational command, a “Molniya” type drone exploded in the village of Novi Borovychi. This attack is part of a broader campaign during which Russian forces carried out strikes on four border communities in Chernihiv region on June 17.

The attacks affected the Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Snovska, and Horodnia communities, resulting in 19 villages being hit by shelling from various types of weapons.
