Does anyone reckon AIB intentionally make the phone numbers in their app not work? They’re missing the “+” before 353 and I can’t help but think it’s on purpose

The line between ineptitude and malicious can be so similar at times
Have you tried reporting the bug to them? I doubt they’ve noticed
Is it definitely the app and not the phone making this mistake?
Works fine on Android. Looks to just be an issue with how it is done on iOS
I left AIB literally because of their tech being so bad. Used to have personal accounts, savings, business account, everything with them. Now a mix of KBC and N26. It’s absolutely worth the effort.
Separate to your point – Always dial the “from abroad number” to avoid the 0818 fees.
They don’t want you to call them. They want you to find the answer in their ‘help centre’ which looks like a beta version of 8chan.
As far as I know 0818 and 1890 also 1800 numbers are internal dial within Ireland only.
You will see +353 1 xxx xxxx numbers to use ‘if abroad’ so just dial them
Edit: In your picture all of the 353 numbers have the + before them
