Leroy Merlin, a retailer specialized in construction, decoration, and gardening, inaugurated today, June 18, its 23rd store in Romania and the second in the city of Iași, following an investment of over 3 million euros. Located in Mall Moldova, the new store will be operated by a team of 120 employees, dedicated to ensuring an optimal shopping experience for Leroy Merlin customers in the region, focused on fast services and low prices every day.
The store, built on a surface of over 9,200 m², includes specialized areas such as a 300 m² bathroom showroom, a 315 m² kitchen showroom, and a 440 m² tile and ceramic showroom. Customers will also benefit from a 1,500 m² covered drive-in area, allowing for direct loading of bulky products. In addition, the new Leroy Merlin unit will feature 15 checkout points, including 2 in the drive-in zone.
Through this investment, the company strengthens its presence in the northeastern region of Romania and addresses the growing demand for affordable DIY, home improvement, and gardening solutions. The new store aims to provide a complete shopping experience, focused on everyday low prices, fast services, and a wide product portfolio.

Customers of the Leroy Merlin store in Mall Moldova will benefit from all the digital and logistical services of the network, including “Click & Collect” – with pickup available within a maximum of two hours, “Phone Orders” – for placing orders easily with consultants, and “Online Order with Delivery” – for direct shipping to home or to construction sites. Moreover, the Leroy Merlin mobile app offers quick access to the full range of products, inspiration for home improvement, and useful video tutorials for personal projects.
The Leroy Merlin store in Mall Moldova will be open to the public from Monday to Saturday between 07:00 AM and 09:00 PM, and on Sundays from 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM.
