So near and yet so far

Seems peoples laziness has reached a new level.

You done the hard work(well maybe the dog did), lifted it and then due to a literal shit shot/laziness they didn't bin

Can we do better?

  1. And for the love of god, if you are going to bag poo, put it in a bin. Don’t hang it on a tree or throw it on the ground. The poo is biodegradable, the bag isn’t. It would be better if you just let the dog poop and not pick it up.

  2. Saw a Merc in Antrim&Newtownabbey yesterday, near full pack of crisps flung out of it, and the driver drove like a bellend on a few occasions.

Wouldn’t have really batted an eye, except for the littering. So contacting the council to see if they, like Belfast, can use dashcam footage for littering fines.

And also checked the reg, so reporting to DVLA/PSNI for untaxed vehicle (since January) being driven on the road.

  3. I see a bauble for the tree has fell off. Takes a right sociopath to do the poop bag tree.

  4. Some people are very lazy, not just with poo bags but litter all over the place. Seen a woman drive away from mc Donald’s the other day throwing all her rubbish out the window instead of the bins provided.

  5. ‘Somebody somewhere pays the appropriate amount of tax to clean this up’.

Same thugs who complain about services are the same thugs who won’t go the extra step for their own environment.

  6. Same here in southern England. People seem to go to the effort of bagging their dogs shit, only to leave it in the in a bush or in the middle of a path. At that point, they would’ve been better to just leave it.

  7. As lazy as the rest of us on the big island. Littering is getting to be a bloody curse.

  8. Yeah this fucking infuriates me.

I have seen seagulls pick bags back out of bins before, but there is usually more than a single bag on those occasions.

We are society of shitebags unfortunately 🤬

  9. I see this everywhere. People bag the shite and leave it there. Why? Just why? Not only is it stupid because you already have the work 90% done, but also, something organic and compostable is now wrapped in plastic.

  10. A couple of weeks ago I found loads of litter right by a bin. My first thought was ‘lazy feckers’ and picked up a large bit and popped it in… Literally two moments later a magpie flew down and pulled it out…

…have also witnessed kids pull out dog crap bags thinking it funny to throw around including in gardens. Totally agree that some people are lazy but sometimes there’s more to it than meets the eye!

  11. Not the point here, but if we’re using non biodegradable bags for this I despair.
