Many Irish people can make a hames of pronouncing American names also. There’s no ‘t’ in Michigan, ‘r’ in Chicago, Maryland is not pronounced Mary-land and Yosemite trips a lot of people up.

Massachusetts (east coast) has a bunch of hilarious impossible to pronounce “correctly” unless you’re from here. Would you think Worcester is ‘woosta’?
